Join us for an evening of connection, gratitude, and nourishment under the influence of the full moon’s celestial glow.

The Sap Moon takes its name from the fact that sap begins rising around this time of year, bringing life back out to the branches. This is also when the sweet waters that give us maple syrup are surging through maples. During this time, the full moon's energy combines with the earth's energy as it begins to shake off its winter slumber and turn its face towards the longer, warmer days of growth. It is a time to tend to what is uprising in us, what visions are we tending? What flowers will be grow from the long dreaming of winter? What do we need to let go of in order to have enough room for the growth that is being asked of us? The despacho is a simple and beautiful way to help us stay aligned with the bigger rhythm of life. Once we have provided a feast for the non-human world, we will get to enjoy exquisite local, organic, homemade, food served family style with new friends.

STARTER

• Baked Feta with Honey, Thyme, and Grapes 
• Mini Carrot Tart Tatin
• Mortadella Mousse, Pistachio Pesto on Foccaccia

MAIN

• Creamy Kennett Square Mushroom Soup, Fried Shallots
• Arugula Salad with Roasted Pickled Beets, Oranges, and Birchrun Hill Blue Cheese
• Crispy Wild Salmon Cakes, Creamed Spinach, Green Apple and Fennel Slaw
• Braised Pork Shoulder Ragu with Cheesy Polenta

DESSERT

• Chai Panna Cotta with Candied Kumquat, Ginger Wafer

 Full Moon Ritual (6:30–7:30 PM)
Experience the sacred practice of a Despacho Ceremony, an Andean tradition of expressing gratitude to the Seen and Unseen. Together, we will craft a beautiful mandala-like creation using flowers, spices, and other meaningful elements, honoring the cycles of nature and our deep interconnection with all life.

 Feast with Community (7:30–9:30 PM)
Savor a lovingly prepared, local organic meal in the company of kindred spirits. This is a time to celebrate, reflect, and forge meaningful connections over shared stories and delicious food.

The full moon invites us to pause, feel our place in the grand tapestry of life, and give back to the rhythms that sustain us. Come ready to awaken your senses, expand your awareness, and be nourished in body and soul.
